About Morgan

Morgan Lykes was born and raised in South Tampa, assimilating real estate knowledge from her family. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and uncle, Lee Pallardys, were MAI"s, commercial real estate appraisers. Her great-grandmother, for whom Fowler Avenue is named, helped develop Temple Terrace. Her grandmother sold residential real estate in South Tampa. Her mother actively sells residential real estate, also at Smith & Associates.
After developing a natural knowledge of real estate growing up, Morgan interned in real estate for two summers during college and obtained her real estate license. During her time in Florida State University, Morgan developed a love for psychology. She believes in the importance of mind and behavior, especially when looking for the perfect home. This helps in pinpointing exactly what a client is hunting for. She helps buyers develop knowledge of the factors that affect value and assists them in determining those features most important to their specific purchase. Paying attention to your client's wants and needs can yield amazing results. Now working at Smith and Associates and partnering with her mother, Gail Lykes, Morgan has spent the last handful of years learning the ins and outs of residential real estate. She spent a year and a half of this time working at a local, well-regarded title insurance company. In doing so, Morgan was able to dive deep into a different skill set while expanding her overall knowledge of real estate.
When not working, Morgan enjoys keeping up with the ever-changing canvas that is Tampa. Even though she grew up here, there is always something new to see and somewhere new to visit. Morgan loves spending time on the water, walking her dog around her neighborhood of Hyde Park, and spending time with family and friends. She loves giving back to the city that’s given her so much. Morgan is closely involved with COVE Behavioral Health and Chapters Health System.
